I found a mistake long, long after I made it. I couldn't handle a mistake in Lily's blanket, so I fixed it. This is what it looked like. But now it's all better.
Yep, I spent new years eve, and into the wee hours of the morning new years day knitting (finally went to bed at 3am). I finished yet another washrag and a cute little scrubby to go with it. I also did some work on my 2nd harry potter scarf in Hufflepuff colors (and have a request for one in Gryffindor colors).
I've finally finished the wavy gravy scarf. . . And now I've started a cabled hat. . . I also made a mitered square, a few more of these and I'll be able to make a blanket. . .
well, here's the progress on the wavy gravy scarf I'm making for Sara's goddaugher, Sara (yes, she is named after Sara) . . . yes I know there is a hole in my sock.
PS Since Amy has an updated picture of her scarf...you know I had to show mine...
My mom's cable scarf is a little over halfway done...the only thing is, since I didn't have the 9's (see previous post), it's turning out to be a miniature version...sigh.
I think I'm on a knitting kick! I just can't wait to start the flower petal washcloths from Weekend Knitting. I bought this yarn from ebay (love it!); it's Crystal Palace Cotton Chenille. Of course, I don't have the right size needles, so I'll ask ever-so-nicely.... Nancy, may I borrow your 16" size 6 circulars?
I started this lovely cable scarf for my mother..so shhhhhh...it's a secret! It's from the book One Skein. I'm using a so soft merino/cashmere blend in a nut brown color on size 8 needles (because I don't have 9's..thanks Nancy! ; )). Whatcha think?
Strawberry Hat (although Gene says it looks more like a watermelon, but I'm still working on the leaves, damn it!)
Pumpkin Hat
Apple Hat
This baby hat makes my 17th completed project: *Blue Fuzzy Scarf *Wavy Gravy Scarf *Harry Potter Scarf *Star Wristband *3 Other baby hats *9 Warshrags (yes, I even finished that hideously ugly yellow and purple number)
